Held in St John’s Church, this was the first of three concerts in late 2024 conducted by our temporary MD, Mark Scullion. Barbara was our accompanist and we were delighted to welcome Charlie from the Peterborough Flute Choir. In the programme were such diverse songs as Cantique de Jean Racine (Faure), Build me up Buttercup, Mozart’s Ave Verum, the Rhythm of Life and the Sound of Silence.  We also performed a Mamas and Papas medley which we had studied earlier in the year at a workshop with Mike Horth.
