The choir travelled to London to join with other choirs in singing in the beautiful St James’ Church in Sussex Gardens. The concert was led by two expert choral conductors, Hilary Campbell and Richard Harker, and Peterborough Take Note was one of six choirs, each doing its own set of two or three pieces. We performed Gloria, All Bells in Paradise and Let it Snow, the latter particularly was met with rapturous applause. At the end of the first half all the choirs joined together to sing Jingle Bells and then at the end of the concert we all sang Love Came Down at Christmas and Angels We Have Heard On High. Everyone was very friendly and supportive, and it was most enjoyable evening.
